Obama’s taking my money
So, I just got this from my HR director at work:
In accordance with President Obama’s signing of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Department of Finance and Administration has implemented the new income tax withholding and advanced earned income credit payment tax tables. Employees will see a difference in their paychecks beginning with the March 31 payday.
So, Mr. President, I graduated college just over a year ago. When you said that you would give tax breaks to 95% of Americans were you not talking about me? Am I a part of the upper 5% of wage earners in this country? If I am, our country is MUCH worse off that we ever imagined. I most definitely do not make more than the $150K-250K that you said were the “super rich.” Thanks for taking more of my money every month…that really helps me out a ton!
